In the Gallery HAOS, her two-dimensional and three-dimensional works are exhibited, in the combined technique, from the cycle THE ACT OF BUILDING THE SHADOW IN.
Pondering on the phenomenon of victim and sacrificing, the painter is treating the victim made for the sake of building and the act of building the shadow in, as the easiest and the least painful way of sacrificing, so common in folkways. The Motive is the Wall - as the symbol of solid buildings in which the shadow is build in, in order to fortify the building. The shadow – man’s alter ego – exists as a subtle metaphor behind which we compare the mythic and the ritual, authority and violence, times of tally boards and times of robots. Pleading for the absolute beauty of light and accentuated emotionality… Unmatchable like the shadows built in, artistic matrix of stone surfaces close up the space of disgust which easily might be the Wall of Cries, Kanli kula (Kanli Tower), Cele kula (Tower made of Skulls) or any other Tower or Wall surrounding our existence.
