For a long period of time already, Charles Ramsburg is experimenting with combined techniques on paper, mixed media – drawings and prints, resarching texturer and the use of calligraphy in order to attain a pure artistic quality... On this exhibition, he is presenting his drawings made by graphite pencil, the starting point in all his researchig endeavours. Those works are the essence, the base of his artistic thought, his ideas and spiritual milieu, pondering into depths of comparative religions and all nuances of their meaning. Faithful to the wide tradition of the post modern art, the expression which is close to lyrical abstract art, Ramsburg the artist is specially inspired by emotions. By refined gestures of pencil and perfect relations of darkness and light, he is attaining unusual effects, close to media of photography.
