"There is no reason to doubt in sincerity of Vlada Velickovic whenever he is trying, and often succeeding, to reach abysses of horror and existential fear, to recognize condemnation of man to comprehend his own insignificance in front of the infinite universe, as well as man's frailty in front of the inevitable death, or anguish when faced with his own ontological enigma. “He has to note dread, not for the sake of tormenting himself, but because such cognitive perception is the only way to overcome dread “– as written in the “Death of Virgil”, by Herman Broth… With a sure plastic exposition, he keeps us believing that it is altogether rather serious, pushing us to circulate in endless circles of the challenge of semantic process, the final outcome of which is constantly running away from us, like a mirage."
